Gang facing drug charges

AN alleged drug gang is facing charges of being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

The seven men appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh yesterday and each pleaded not guilty to the charge of supplying cocaine between August 4, 2009 and February 11, 2011.

The accused are Gary Yorke, 44, Kenneth Glen, 24, both of Quarrybank, Dalkeith, John Russell, 45, of Trafalgar Lane, Edinburgh, Darren Macholecki, 32, of Currieside Avenue, Shotts, Steven Blacklaw, 25, of Brunswick Road, Edinburgh, Andrew Baillie, 36, and Lee Calder, 29, both listed as prisoners.

Among the locations where the men are accused of supplying the drug are Tesco Extra at Newcraighall, Asda at The Jewel, Bannatyne's Gym at Newcraighall, and The Royal Musselburgh Golf Club in East Lothian.
