Gang attack pensioner dies

A PENSIONER who collapsed after chasing teenage yobs who had pelted his windows with vegetables has died in hospital.

David Alexander suffered a heart attack after he gave chase to a gang who were said to have attacked his home with peppers in Armadale in West Lothian.

A police spokesman said yesterday: "Two 14-year-old boys have been charged in connection with an incident in Honeyman Court.

"A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
