Furious judge vows to fight dog fine

A JUDGE who swore and stormed out of court after being fined for failing to control her dog said she would appeal.

Judge Beatrice Bolton, 57, called the decision a "travesty" and shouted, "I'll never set foot in this court again," after leaving Carlisle Magistrates' Court yesterday. Ms Bolton, whose dog attacked a neighbour, later vowed to appeal.
