Funerals for fishermen

THE funerals of two fishermen who died after falling overboard in a reservoir are to take place later this week.

David Archibald, 59, and 56-year-old Andrew Conlon, from Dalkeith in Midlothian, were reported missing on Sunday after failing to return from fishing at Gladhouse Reservoir in Gorebridge.

A service for Mr Archibald will take place at St Nicholas Buccleuch Church, in Dalkeith, on Thursday at 12.30pm, followed by Mr Conlon’s funeral at noon on Friday at Mortonhall Crematorium.
