Fundraising causes a stir

WHITBURN Academy pupils have reached a milestone by raising a total of £11,592.08 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Stewart Muir, Stephen Oakes and Jonny Martin’s latest event, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, was held recently and raised £1158.58.

This amount won the school the Macmillan Cancer Support West Lothian Coffee Morning Schools Cup. The runners-up were Holy Family Primary in Winchburgh and Linlithgow Primary.
