Fundraisers saddling up

MORE than 180 cyclists will peddle from Glasgow to Edinburgh this Sunday in a money-spinning Canal Cycle Ride for Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.

The bike trek is broken down into two legs, the first 25 miles from Glasgow to the Falkirk Wheel followed by lunch then continuing on to Edinburgh.

A total of 65,000 has been raised by the event in the last four years, with more than 650 cyclists taking part since it began.

Places are still available. The ride is open to individuals, teams, and families. All cyclists must be over the age of 16.
