Frozen bunny on the mend

A BABY rabbit which was found freezing by the roadside and covered in snow is now recovering.

The Scottish SPCA took the animal into its care after a member of the public spotted the three-week-old rabbit shivering by the roadside at Houston Industrial Estate, Livingston, last Wednesday.

The kind passer-by picked up the poorly bunny and put it in a box with a blanket before contacting the charity for help. It was then taken to the charity's rescue centre in Fife.

Centre manager Colin Seddon said: "This rabbit was very weak and dehydrated on arrival but has responded well to treatment."
