Fresh start for PR firm as rivals swoop

A PUBLIC relations firm based in the Capital has been bought by an English rival.

Profile Plus, which is based on The Shore in Leith, and whose clients include the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa and The Drambuie Liqueur Company, has been acquired by Freshwater.

Freshwater chief executive Steve Howell said: "The acquisition is another positive step forward. The acquisition comes at a time when Freshwater is well placed to deliver a strong second half."
