French kiss as Karen falls for movie co-star

FORMER Doctor Who star Karen Gillan is said to have fallen for her French co-star in a real-life case of life imitating art.

The 24-year-old Telford College student has begun dating Stanley Weber, who she met on the set of Not Another Happy Ending.

In the movie, she plays troubled author Jane Lockhart, who inadvertently falls in love with her handsome publisher, played by Weber.

Filming finished last week after over a month of shooting in Glasgow.

The part is the former model’s first role since quitting as Doctor Who’s sidekick, Amy Pond.

Sources said Gillan and Weber were inseparable, One said: “She can’t stop talking about him. They had instant chemistry — even the crew felt it. It became obvious when they carried on kissing well after the director called cut.”
