Fox joins fuel poverty fight

FORMER Lothians MSP Colin Fox will join Scottish Socialist Party activists in Princes Street tomorrow urging people to sign a petition to eradicate fuel poverty.

He said: “Two separate studies confirm that gas and electricity bills are now people’s number one concern – and no wonder. The latest double-digit rise means that energy prices have doubled over the last five years, but incomes have not increased by anywhere near that amount.”
