Fountain youths to appear in court

Two men aged 21 and 25, have been arrested and will appear in court in connection with the alleged theft of money from a public fountain.

Police swooped on Court Street in Haddington at around 2:40am yesterday following reports that people were removing coins.

Lothian and Borders Police said that almost £29 in change was returned to the fountain.
