Forth rail bridge brought to life by 1,000 lights

FOR two years it had sat in darkness, whilst extensive repainting was carried out on the Forth rail bridge, but last night the floodlights were turned back on and the bridge was illuminated once more.

Over 1,000 floodlights are used to light the railway crossing, which celebrated its 122nd anniversary to coincide with the lights being switched back on.
