

The names on the shortlist are; Caledonia Bridge, Queensferry Crossing, St Margaret’s Crossing, Firth of Forth Crossing and Saltire Crossing.
Transport Scotland are due to announce the winning name later this month for the £800m development.

It was recently revealed that Caledonia Bridge, Queensferry Crossing and St Margaret’s Crossing have been the favoureites among voters.
The contest was launched on 29 April this year, with two thirds of the votes so far being cast in the first two days.
The initial stages of the naming contest saw some 3000 entries, with some people asking to have the bridge named after Rab C Nesbitt, Chuck Norris, Paw Broon, William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.
