The A90, the M9 Spur and the B800 will all be affected by a series of overnight closures as workers install a new overpass and raise overhead digital road signs.

The B800 south east of South Queensferry will shut between 8pm and 6am from October 28-30, with diversions via Winchburgh and Newton. Temporary traffic lights will also be in place from October 24 to November 1.

The A90 will be fully closed south of Echline Junction and west of the B924 at Dalmeny Junction from 8pm to 6am from November 2-4, with diversions via Kincardine and the A8/M9. The M9 Spur will also be closed during the same period.

Steven Brown, Transport Scotland’s Forth Replacement Crossing roads and infrastructure manager, said: “We advise drivers to plan ahead – especially for those travelling across the Forth to and from Edinburgh Airport – and avoid any unnecessary or delays to journeys that may be affected by the closures.”
