A FRENCH junior minister forced to resign over allegations of sexual assault on two former colleagues was detained for questioning yesterday.

Police said George Tron, 53, who denies the allegations, was taken into custody for questioning and the Draveil town hall south of Paris - where Tron serves as mayor - was searched.
