Chairman Charlie Kirkwood said: “We are all very low. Craig loved this club and was out longest-serving committee member. He was a lovely guy.”

The tragedy happened as Bonnyrigg Rose were playing Linlithgow Rose in an East of Scotland Super League match at Linlithgow.

The match was abandoned at 2-2 as a mark of respect.

Mr Devine is survived by his parents, a sister and two brothers.
