Food for prisoners

THE Mosque Kitchen has teamed up with the Methodist Church to help prisoners in Sierra Leone during Ramadan.

The food will be given to prisoners at the Central Maximum Prison.

Rev Peter Clark of the Methodist Church said: “When it comes to Ramadan Muslims fast and hope that they will at the end of the fast be able to eat reasonably well.

“But in the prisons in Sierra Leone, they fail to provide the prisoners with good quality food.”
