A flying start for Moonwalkers

Staff at Edinburgh Airport have shown their support for this year’s MoonWalk Edinburgh.

Breast cancer charity Walk the Walk’s annual fundraiser takes to the streets of the Capital on June 9.

The airport will host a special welcome celebration for all MoonWalkers flying in to take part.

And they will be pampered with beauty treatments and offered food and drink vouchers as they await their flights home.

Gordon Robertson, head of communications for Edinburgh Airport, said: “The MoonWalk is a highlight in the Edinburgh calendar and attracts visitors from around the country who fly in just for the one night of the challenge – we want to show them our support. The money raised makes a huge difference to the lives of people across Scotland and the team here at Edinburgh Airport are passionate about doing their bit for this fantastic cause.”

Volunteers from the airport will also be on hand during the walk to hand out supplies and offer support.
