Fisher girls make waves at gala day

YOUNG fisher girls wave to some of the boats sailing along the coastline of the Firth of Forth as part of the Port Seton and Cockenzie Gala Day.

The festival saw residents of the East Lothian fishing villages come out to celebrate their fishing heritage.

Small fishing boats braved the choppy waters to sail from Port Seton Harbour to Cockenzie Harbour as part of the event. The festivities also included a local parade and a wreath-laying ceremony at the local war memorial.
