Firms given jobs funding

Two Midlothian-based firms have secured new funding expected to increase the number of people they employ over the next three years.

Taylor Plant Hire (Scotland) Ltd in Gorebridge and Easthouses-based Graham Schutte Interiors Ltd will now receive loans totalling £35,000 to help them develop their businesses further through the Midlothian Economic Development Framework

Midlothian councillor Russell Imrie said the aim of the loans was to support the creation, development and growth of small and growing businesses.
