Firm unveils village bid for 70 new homes

Banks Property Development Ltd has put forward a planning application to build the homes to the south-west of Cemetery Road in Rosewell, Midlothian.

The company is set to hold a public exhibition at the village's Chapel Hall on 19 August, as well as hosting public meetings to discuss the proposals with local residents. Leaflets will also be distributed to homes in Rosewell and posters about the proposed development put up in local shops.

The plans, submitted by the firm earlier this month, will be considered by Midlothian Council at a later date.
