Firemen fight warehouse blaze

EMERGENCY services were fighting a serious fire in a warehouse on the north side of the River Clyde in Glasgow last night.

The blaze broke out at around 9pm and a large column of smoke hung over the building in Lancefield Street, on the Broomielaw.

The roads around the building were closed while the blaze was tackled.
