Fire crews fight blaze at former printing works

Nine appliances were sent to Dalgety Road, Meadowbank, last night, after fire broke out in the empty building once occupied by Stewarts of Edinburgh Limited.

The call came in at 5.30pm and fire crews were on the scene for around an hour and a half.

Police were also called to manage traffic, as fire crews had difficulty reaching the site.

The fire comes just three months after a similar incident in October last year.
