Fire college gets revamp

THE Scottish Fire Service College in Gullane, East Lothian, is to undergo a programme of modernisation.

The £350,000 scheme will see 120 bedrooms at Braidwood House revamped to cater for trainees from across Scotland.

The college is currently home to 18 Scottish Government staff alongside up to 20 personnel who are seconded from various services.

The accommodation block was built in 1980 and is located on the town’s Main Street.
