Film aims to dent Donald Trump’s credibility

A DOCUMENTARY which aims to dent Donald Trump’s credibility as a witness will be shown to MSPs the day before the American entrepreneur gives evidence at the Scottish Parliament over wind farms.

Politicians have been invited to the screening of You’ve Been Trumped, at the parliament.

Billionaire Trump says wind farms planned off the Aberdeenshire coast will ruin views from his new £750 million Menie estate golf resort, at which he says work has been halted because of the turbines.

Anthony Baxter, director of You’ve Been Trumped, said: “The film raises extremely grave questions about Mr Trump’s credibility as a witness, and it is vital MSPs see it before weighing his evidence.

“We wanted to make sure there was absolutely no excuse for parliament to be seduced a second time by Mr Trump and his PR machine when it comes to upending the country’s environmental policies.”

The Trump Organisation has been invited to the screening, which will take place in Committee Room One at 6pm on Tuesday, April 24.

The film has scooped a haul of ten awards and will be released in cinemas this summer.
