Fife beach body is 85-year-old Thomas Semple
A BODY found on a Fife beach has been identified as that of an elderly man last seen on Boxing Day.
Members of the coastguard found the body of Thomas Semple, 85, in the Temple area of Lower Largo at around 4am on Friday December 27.
Mr Semple, from Lundin Links in Fife, was last seen leaving his home at around 3.30pm on 26 December.
Police Scotland said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and that a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
