Female Saudi students get down to business

Around 30 undergraduate students from King Adbulaziz University in the Gulf studied business modules at Edinburgh Napier University over the summer.

Grace Sharkey, a Business School lecturer at Edinburgh Napier, said: “This ground-breaking initiative by King Abdulaziz University has provided a wonderful opportunity for female undergraduates to experience an international business education with us – and we’ve been honoured to work with the students and staff.”

The students, from Jeddah, travelled to Edinburgh as part of the Kingdom’s massive investment in higher education, which includes building 18 new university cities and academy complexes and backing 125,000 international scholarships.
