Father and son robbed at knifepoint

A FATHER and son were robbed of their Christmas savings at knifepoint in the Capital.

Lothian and Borders Police are appealing for witnesses regarding the assault and robbery that occurred in Muirhouse Drive on Saturday.

Police are now looking for three men in relation to the incident.

Witnesses have described the first as a black male, around 5ft 7ins in height, of average to broad build and was wearing a black padded jacket with hood, cap, grey scarf and spoke with a local accent.

The other two are described as being white men, around 5ft 9ins in height and both were wearing a black hooded top.
