Fan in court after match

A MAN has admitted religiously prejudiced breach of the peace after he was arrested at a football match at the weekend.

Jamie Begbie, 19, was arrested during a Dunfermline and Hearts game in East End Park, Fife, on Saturday.

Begbie, from Kirkliston near Edinburgh, pleaded guilty at Dunfermline Sheriff Court yesterday. The case was continued until November 16 for reports and he was released on bail.

Another man arrested at the same match also appeared at the court. Andrew Irvine, 18, denied racially prejudiced breach of the peace.
