Two men have been taken to hospital following a crash in Falkirk.

Reports of a collision involving two vehicles were recorded by the police at around 8am on Main Road, Maddiston, Saturday April 17.

Following the incident, two men were taken to Forth Valley Hospital.

Their condition is not known.

Police confirmed they were at the scene and that the Scottish Ambulance Service was also in attendance.

The road was closed following the incident, however, police confirmed it was reopened at around 9.25am the same morning.

A police spokesman said: “At around 8pm this morning, a crash involving two cars on Main Road, Maddiston in Falkirk was reported to the police.

“Two men have been taken to Forth Valley Hospital and the road was re-opened at around 9.25am.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
