Fair courts a wide crowd

A SUMMER fair with attractions for all ages is set to take place at a sheltered housing complex in the Capital today.

The annual event at St Nicholas Court – owned by Port of Leith Housing Association (PoLHA) – has become an integral part of the social calendar, with facepainting, a book stall, tombola stall and a raffle.

Maureen Tait, a co-ordinator with PoLHA, said: “The event helps raise vital money. It means we can organise day trips, keep-fit classes and other treats for our residents.”
