Failed firm's flats for sale

A STUDENT flats complex has been put on the market after the collapse of its owner.

John Smith Halls in Tollcross was put on the market this week by agent Knight Frank.

Its owner, Kilmartin Property Group, recently fell under the control of receivers PricewaterhouseCoopers.

A retail park in Inverness and offices in Glasgow are among the firm's other assets.

Graham Frost, joint receiver and business recovery services director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Scotland, said: "Not surprisingly, there has been a great deal of interest in the properties owned by Kilmartin and Annfield."
