Factors firm adds pillar

A NEW operations director has been appointed at a city factoring business.

James Gibb Residential Factors has appointed property management expert Nic Mayall from rival firm Ross & Liddell to manage and develop its Edinburgh client base.

Mr Mayall was previously responsible for running Ross & Liddell’s Edinburgh factoring division with a portfolio of 8000 properties.

Douglas Weir, director of Gibb parent Strathspey Capital, commented: “Nic’s reputation is excellent and he will certainly help us to grow quickly and effectively.”
