Extra help in bag for Santa

An appeal launched in 1984 to ensure disadvantaged children in West Lothian received toys from Santa at Christmas is still going strong 26 years later.

Families are referred to the West Lothian Toy Appeal by agencies, such as social work and housing officers.

This year, thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses in West Lothian, the Army has been able to deliver about 1000 extra bags of toys to Santa for delivery on Christmas Day.
