Extinguishing the dangers of Bonfire Night

DANGEROUS bonfires are being dismantled by the council ahead of Bonfire Night.

Community safety leader Councillor Paul Edie joined David Lockhart, of Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue, and community safety team members Brian Skedd and James Storrie as they tackled a bonfire in Wardieburn.

Community safety teams are spending this week dismantling unofficial bonfires in a drive to prevent injuries and curb antisocial behaviour.
