Exhibition to mark jubilee

AN exhibition is set to take place at Holyrood Palace next year to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Treasures from The Queen’s Palaces – A Royal Collection exhibition will run in The Queen’s Gallery from March 16 to November 4 next year.

It will showcase 100 works from across the entire breadth of the Royal Collection, from eight royal residences and more than five centuries of collecting.

It will include paintings, drawings, miniatures, manuscripts, furniture, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery.
