Estate buyout bid suffers setback

SCOTLAND'S first hostile takeover bid for an estate has been hit by another delay.

A meeting due to be held last night to discuss the price local people were expected to pay for the 26,800-acre Pairc Estate on Lewis was cancelled after landowner Barry Lomas raised a court action against the buyout.
