Water bills to remain unchanged in 2012

Water charges will remain frozen from April, it was announced last night.

Scottish Water said the average household charge will stay at £324 – the same as it was in 2009-10.

A spokesman said: “The fact that charges are being kept at the same level for the fourth year running is a tribute to the efforts of management and everyone who works at Scottish Water in creating an even more efficient Scottish Water.”
