Radium-226 found on former SAS site

THE FORMER headquarters of the SAS is contaminated with radioactive material, the government has revealed.

Stirling Lines, where the elite special forces soldiers were stationed until 1999, is poisoned with radium-226, one of ten MoD sites contaminated with the substance, including RAF Kinloss.
