Baby otter saved as mother disappears

A BABY otter has been rescued after his mother was apparently swept away by a strong river current.

A BABY otter has been rescued after his mother was apparently swept away by a strong river current.

The cub, named “Noah” by rescuers, was found alone and crying out for his mother in Kirtle Water in Dumfries and Galloway. Thought to be just seven-weeks-old, Noah is being cared for by Scottish SPCA National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Fishcross, Clackmannanshire.
