Enterprises’ funding aid

three social enterprises are to set up international headquarters in Edinburgh after winning grants from the
Scottish Government.

The cash from the £90,000-a-year International Social Enterprise Programme will go to the Homeless World Cup, which uses football to help people out of poverty; Challenges Worldwide, which provides support to help businesses grow in poorer countries; and Assist Social Capital, which provides training.

A grant will also go to the Social Enterprise World Forum, which held its inaugural meeting in Edinburgh.
