Energy visits’ funds boost

NEW programmes aimed at educating young people on the importance of renewable energy are being developed thanks to a £5000 grant.

Young Science, Engineering and Technology ambassadors have been working with Community Windpower.

Groups of school children from the Lothians go out to Aikengall Community Windfarm, owned by Community Windpower, for educational visits. The new programmes will help fund more visits.
