Electronic tag must stay, Nadir is told

Former fugitive tycoon Asil Nadir has failed in a bid to have his electronic tag removed.

Nadir, 69, who faces trial next year after the collapse of his Polly Peck company, asked an Old Bailey judge for the tag to be replaced by a condition requiring him to report daily to police. But Mr Justice Holroyde said the tag had been part of a package of conditions imposed in September by another judge.
