An election poll with bite

DEEP Sea World is launching its own election to find Scotland's favourite species of shark in its We Love Sharks campaign.

The North Queensferry aquarium is home to one of Europe's largest collections of sharks and rays, with more than ten different species on display, from native dogfish and bull huss to angel sharks and sand tigers.

Keepers have identified the four most popular species of sharks and are inviting visitors and members of the public to vote for their favourites.

Everyone that votes will be in the running to win an annual pass for the whole of 2010.
