Elderly man hit by bus
An elderly man had to be been taken to hospital after being struck by a bus in the centre of Edinburgh.
The pedestrian was about to cross the road at the corner of George Street and St Andrew Square when he was hit by the single decker at around midday.
He suffered a minor cut to his head and was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
