Elderly man dies in Aberdeen house fire
AN ELDERLY man has died following a house fire in Aberdeen.
Three fire engines attended the scene in Brighton Place in the centre of the city, after the alarm was raised just before 9pm yesterday.
The body of an elderly man was discovered inside.
Police Scotland said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A joint investigation will be carried out by police and the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service.
