Edinburgh Weather: Strong winds and rain to come

STRONG winds and more rain are expected over most parts of Scotland over the next 24 hours.

The Met Office says gust could reach up to 50mph inland and be stronger in coastal areas.

They warn that up to 60mm of rain could fall on high ground in eastern parts of the country.

And the weather is not expected to get much better as the week progresses, with 
frequent rainfalls forecast.
