Edinburgh Weather: Flood alert for Lothians
AN amber weather alert has been issued for the Lothians as heavy rain is forecast later today.
Localised flood warnings have been issued and drivers have been urged to take care.
The Met Office said outbreaks of rain would continue “well into Friday evening” with downpours delivering between 25-40mm expected.
A risk of travel disruption is also predicted and police have asked the public to take extra caution.
