Edinburgh golf starlets not flagging

BUDDING young golfers are being urged to take part in a nearest the pin contest.

The event is organised by the team behind the US Kids Golf European Championship, which takes place in East Lothian next month.

Monday’s challenge will see primary school children compete at Bruntsfield Short Hole Golf Course.

Tournament co-ordinator Alasdair Good said: “The competition is a great way to get kids involved in the game.”
