Edinburgh duo declared top specs-wearers

Two teenagers have been declared the Capital’s top specs-wearers after they reached the final of a national competition.

School pupil Rachael Whitelaw, 16, and politics student Gareth Quinn, 19, entered the contest after being approached by staff from
Specsavers at Cameron Toll, when the store held a model scouting event.

They were among 461 entrants from across Scotland, with Gareth the only male to make it to the final, and both scooped a designer glasses voucher worth £125.
